Residential Snow Removal Gets Underway in North End (Zone 2) January 13 - 17

Watch for ‘No Parking’ Signs and Move Parked Vehicles

Residential snow removal operations will get underway this week (January 13-17) in the North End, beginning with Priority Routes first, followed by residential streets.

Snow removal operations will move to the Riverside area (Zone 4) on Wednesday, January 15 due to waste collection in the North End on that day.

‘No Parking’ Signs

Please watch for ‘No Parking’ signs and move parked vehicles from roads when the signs are posted.

Removing your vehicle from the roadway when ‘No Parking’ signs are posted in advance of snow removal operations is a requirement under the Town’s Traffic Bylaw and can result in fines and towing of the vehicle at the owner’s expense if needed.

Removing your vehicle from the road also helps crews conduct snow and ice control operations safely and more efficiently.

Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route to avoid snow and ice control equipment where possible.
