In Alberta, customers can choose their electricity supplier from a number of independent retail suppliers. The Town offers a default Regulated Rate supply option to those who do not choose an independent retail supplier. The default service provider for electricity in the Town of Ponoka is ENMAX (310 – 2010).

Regulated Rate Option
The regulated rate is the default electric energy price. ENMAX Energy provides the Regulated Rate Option (RRO) in Ponoka to residential and small business customers who consume less than 250,000 kWh per year.
