An animal control licence is your pet's ticket home if they go missing and helps ensure they can more easily be returned home safely by the Town's Animal Control Contractor.
Cat and dog licence fees are used to help offset the cost of Animal Control Services provided by the Town.
For full details about licensing your pet, fees or to apply for an animal control licence, please visit Dog and Cat Licences and view the Frequently Asked Questions.
All animals must be wearing a current licence tag when taken off of their owners property.
Animals must also wear a leash when off their owners property, unless they are at the Off-Leash Dog Area in Ponoka.
Pet owners are reminded to help contribute to a safe, clean and attractive community by cleaning up after their animals.
