The Town of Ponoka Waterworks Department is responsible for delivering and maintaining the Town’s water, sanitary and storm sewer systems, including:
- Providing safe drinking water to Ponoka citizens.
- Collection and treatment of wastewater in the Town.
- Maintaining and repairing breaks in the water, sanitary and storm sewer systems.
The Town Waterworks crew also completes annual fire hydrant flushing and sewer line maintenance to ensure service excellence to Ponoka residents.
