Bill Payment Options During the Postal Strike
Due to the postal strike and the interruption of regular mail service, the Town of Ponoka reminds citizens of the following options for paying and receiving bills from the Town.
Options for receiving your utility bill:
- Sign up for E-Billing - Have your Town of Ponoka utility bills sent directly to you by email. You can sign up for E-billing online by clicking here, by email at utilities@ponoka.ca, or in person at the Town Office on the second floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre (5604 50 Street).
- Pick up your bill in person at the Town office during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Options for paying your bill:
- Sign up for the Town's Pre-Authorized Payment Plan to have your utility bill automatically paid from your account every month. You can sign up in person at the Town Office or by email at utilities@ponoka.ca.
- Pay in person at the Town Office by cash, debit, credit or cheque.
- Pay through your bank, either in person or online.
- Pay with a credit card by using the Town’s credit card payment slip. Please fill in the payment slip with your credit card information, your signature, utility account number and dollar amount for the bill payment. Completed forms can then be submitted in one of the following ways:
- Email to utilities@ponoka.ca
- Drop off at the Town Office (second floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre)
Note: Credit card numbers are not kept on file. The credit card payment slip must be resubmitted for each transaction.
Please do not mail bill payments to the Town until the strike has ended. Use one of the options listed above instead. Thank you.
