Town of Ponoka

Ponoka residents are invited to host a garage or yard sale as part of the Town’s annual Community-Wide Garage Sale event from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21. This town-wide event is an opportunity for residents to sell unwanted items and explore new-to-you treasures across the community.

To participate, simply set up your own garage or yard sale at your home. Although the event will take place from July 19 to 21, you can choose to set up your garage or yard sale on one, two or all three days.

Advertise Your Garage Sale on the Online Map

The Town of Ponoka will create a Community-Wide Garage Sale map again this year. To enter your garage or yard sale onto the online map, please email recreation@ponoka.ca or call 403-783-0131. 

Please provide the Town with your first and last name, physical address, and the dates and times of your garage sale no later than Friday, July 12, 2024. The map will be posted to the Town’s website at ponoka.ca/p/community-wide-garage-sale the week of July 15.

Residents are also encouraged to post their garage or yard sale to the outdoor bulletin board at the Ponoka Arena Complex (4410 54 Street). 

“We are excited to once again organize a community-wide garage sale event that will not only be a lot of fun for the community, but is also expected to attract visitors from surrounding areas to Ponoka,” said Andrew Jones, Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities for the Town of Ponoka. “For the past three summers, the Community-Wide Garage Sale has had a strong turnout and been a great success,” he added.
